Good beginner quad?

POLARIS POLARIS POLARIS. I just bought my son his first quad today. A 2008 Polaris 330 trail blazer. He was riding it within seconds of taking it off the trailer. My concern also was concentrating on riding not shifting. Its got plenty of power for him, and it climbed some good hills even with my 210 lb body on board. They are a breeze to ride right from the gate. The seperate rear brake on the floor, or you can pull the hand brake and it stops all 4 tires, very safe quad. Ya they are a little heavier, but teach her the beauty of good body weight transfer and she will do fine.

Also someone stated that they were 2 stroke, mine is a 4 stroke, after a certain year they are all 4 stroke, They also said under powered, not for a beginner they are not. Also I found that a llot of other brand name quads in a smaller motor are also a smaller frame size. The 330 Polaris is a full size quad.

I put my girl on a Rancher 420. She had never even sat on one before. We ended up on the difficult rock climbs. With going slow and a little coaching, I didn't even have to ride it for her. We took the electric shift Rancher. Pretty easy, especially if only using first three gears.

I've heard great comments about the suzuki eiger for beginners-
My wife started out on a Honda 300ex. Shaft drive, semi auto clutch, reverse, smaller & lighter and cheaper then a polaris. She loved it- she's a small girl, maybe 5'3" 115 lbs. Had enough grunt off the line but not too much to get her in trouble if she panicked and she was very comfortable in the trails.
