Not sure if it’s the winch or the switch. Guess I’ll just replace it all and be done with it. What a pain!!

And now I can’t get the winch to free wheel because the winch is so damn tightly retracted

Try taking the blue wire off the 12+ and hook it to ground - some contactors use the ground for switching

Disconnect the lines to the winch. Hook up multimeter or test light and try above. Also are u sure u tagged a 12v supply?

power is there for sure. Just not activating. It pulled the winch in and crapped out.
