I’m looking at a new winch. Not bothering trying to troubleshoot this anymore.

Okay. I’m going to get the switch. My wife is over my shoulder saying “just get the switch”.

So I compromised and got the Arctic Cat Switch. 40.00 shipped but it will fit in the handlebar area like the current setup. Country Cat delivers pretty much next day to me so it will be here sooner than EBay. If this isn’t the problem I’m not going to be happy. Just sayin...haha Only good thing is I can tell the wife “I told ya so”.
