What Honda can hold it's own against the Polaris Scrambler 4X4?

I agree with kford. The older rancher was awesome and the newer one with the bigger engine and better transmission will more than likely give a first time owner everything they need speed and power alike. I own a magnum 325 and basically I feel my polaris is just an inferior machine to the old ranchers and most certainly will be to the new ones. But another option is what vampireforeman has, foremans are really sweet too and you got so much power to do anything the speed is there as well. If this is your first bike and you really want it all and HONDA just go ahead and get the Rincon although it costs so much it would really be worth it in the long run the speed the power the ease of automatic its all there really excellent machines.

well yes, there is the Rincon. I love mine and am very happy having spent the money on it. however, the price and size kinda put in in the next class up. was trying to stay in line with the scrambler.

Jack'd@ff, only 121 posts in 2 weeks? Think what you could accomplish if you freed up that other hand to type with. It's plain you are on this thread to pick **** with people who are way smarter than you. Want proof? Check your spelling and punctuation. Are you looking forward to your third try at fifth grade? Regarding Scrambler: Better ride with people who own something else and have a towrope. Ask shop mechanics; they tune other quads, they repair and rebuild polaris. Used ones are quite cheap, don'cha wonder why? You can get a Warn 424 unlocking front drive shaft now for post '95 Wolverines, so it can be shiftable 2-4wd. Most Warrior performance mods will go on the Wolverine since their engines are real close. There isn't a lot else in that category. If you can get along without 4wd, and most people can with ease, then you get a lot more options. Have fun choosing.

u need a rincon because the can be a good utility and a pretty fast bike. They are neat because u can put them in automatic or es or the regular foot shift

i had a 00 scambler and the 4 wheel drive went like 4 times and it blow up in the matter of the 11 months i owned it so i wouldnt suggest buyin a polaris or maybe i just got a lemon and buy the way i only rode the thing like 20 times so if ur thinkin i beat the **** out of it i didnt

I'm on my third polaris sportsman, I've never seen the inside of a shop. I do my required maintence and ride, Polaris is just as dependable as anything else.
Try a few machines, pick the one YOU feel comfortable with - your obviousy not getting much help here, do some test drives... and don't count out the automatics.
