all i can suggest is that you get a service manual. it will tell you all you need to know. best $25 you can spend on your ride.

btw its on the right hand side.

dude i was just making sure.. i got the clutch all apart... and it seems to be fine.. im installing an ew anyway.. but i still don't no whats wrong i got it apart in 20 mins.. the reason iasked is because the shiftlever is on the left... meaning the tranny. i would to make sure before pulling off the wrong side of the engine.

 

The best thing for you to do is go to your local Honda dealer, and get a manual. It'll walk you through every aspect of wrenching on the quad.

 

get manual just not from dealer unless you just want to spend $70 instead of spending $25 online

 

I got mine from my dealer for $30.

 

no afence to any of these people but dont relie on these people if your gonna do a repaire, and manual and your brain would be the best choice, but i shouldnt be telling you what to to do. oh well.

 

The plates might look good, but you need to measure them to check the if they are worn down ay. You can't do this with measureing them and making sure that they are within the limits that it says in the manual.
