I would ask 3530 OBO and see what happens... the dealer is only going to give you around 3,000 so you would be better of selling it out right.

Your quad has a lot of add-ons and this can be good or bad. Some people do not like it when someone does too much to a quad or even a car for that matter. Some people will really like that it has add-ons and think of it as a plus. You can have too much invested in an item where it drives the price high enough where people just don't want to pay the asking amount. You can either sell certain items separate from the quad or eat some of the expense. I like things like bumpers or skids but don't like it when someone messes with the motor and/or carb. The first thing to come to mind is that something might not have been done right. Also, why is this person selling such a new quad with all these add-ons so fast? (Don't answer, it just comes to mind.)

The important thing to do is price it so it will sell while getting as much as you can out of it. Check your local papers to see what the 300ex's are selling for in your area. You can also check KBB.com for prices.
The new 300ex has a retail of $4499.00. NADA shows an average price of $3940.00 and a low price of $2995.00. If you price it too close to retail people will figure that they might as well buy new and have a warranty. (Do you have an extended warranty on it?) Some might think that it is better to buy your quad because of the extras. You need to lure these people in.

I like to start out higher because you can always go down. It's hard to go up in price. I don't know what kind of shape your quad is in or if the jetting was done correctly. I also don't know if it needs things like tires. Someone could buy a new one for at least $4200./ $4300. (Most likely) I'm going to say to start out a little higher than the suggested $3940. at around $4000./$4100. and decide how low you want to go. Maybe $3950. stressing the point that it has all the extras. If you still have the stock items like the grab bar and bumper, then consider putting them back on and sell the aftermarket items separate. This would allow you to go lower on the price. Making it sell faster. In the end you might have to settle for $3800./$3900. It depends on how much time you have to sell it. Don't trade it in. You'll be lucky to get $3000. for it. If you do get a decent price for a trade in, it'll probably be because they didn't go down much or at all on the next quad. Good luck. Just my opinion.

Down here in Georgia, i just saw an 02' 300ex for $4000.00, might seem a little steep, but every other one ive seen for around that price has sold, ill keep posted if it sells for that price or not. back to the subject, i would try to sell it for about $3800 depending on how well quads are selling up there, yes its alot, but with the mods, you should be able to find someone to buy it...

I don't know about by you guys, but you can get a used 400ex with those same mods here for about $3800, I'd go for around $3200, or you could strip off the aftermarket parts, and sell those separate from the quad on ebay or something. Just remember to put the stock stuff back on. You're never gonna get near the same amount you paid for the parts back off of a sell, that's the horrible part about going aftermarket. If you're not gonna keep it for a while, you're gonna get screwed on the resale. Definitely don't sell it to a dealer, I can guaruntee you they'll rape you as much as they can.
