Do Not Put Clutch Kit in The 400AT !!!!
I thought that all you 400AT owners should know about this.I installed a clutch kit about 3 weeks ago.Ever since that time I have had problems with my machine. It has less bottom end power and it will not drive in the Auto mode. The kit does what it is supposed to do,it does engage at higher RPM but it really does not give you more power.I know the first thing you will all say is,Are you sure the kit was installed properly? The answer is yes,I have installed probably more the 15 kits in 350,450 and Rubicons and they have all work perfect. I can also tell you that I removed the kit today and all my problems are gone.
For some reason the higher engagement screws up the ECU on the 400 in the Auto Mode. When you are driving and you are running around 10kph the transmission up shifts to a high gear giving you no power.Switch to ESP and off you go.
