Default 165 jet too much??????HELP:(

Hey people i jetted my wheelr lilttle bit ago with 165 jet and HMF pipe and my air filter is on its way. Today i was riding and sometimes when i let it warm up and quickly punch the gas it wont rev so i had to pump it sometimes. And i was going slow then i picked it up and i was like in 4th and all of a sudden it died!!! then i tried to start it up couple times and it would not fire until i put the reserve on. Please help me out here does it have anything to do with my needle need to be pushed down yet or will my air filter help this out smaller jet? thanks people

I ran a 150-155 in my wifes old 400EX. Remember a dynojet jet & stock jet are sized different!

i raised my needle in the winter months but left it in the stock position in the summer months due to the density of the air.
