Whats the best oil to use for a rancher? Ive been using Havoline 10w 30 in an old 200sx with no problems, but i was told not to use auto oil because it foams. Any ideas?

Any motercycle oil will do, 2 quarts of Auto oil cannot hold up to the shear abuse of the tranny clutch and engine! I perfer Honda HP-4 20W50

I use GN-4. 10W40 most of the year expect when it gets a little warmer. Then go with the 20W50.

Honda oil is very good oil, but you can use any oil long as it has the API Service Classification SF or SG. That is what Honda says. To comfirm this look the manual.

You should go to the tech tips section and read about motor oil's. I recommend using "AMSOIL" 100% synthetic oil (after the engine is broke in ) or any good brand synthetic oil. Synthetics are far superior to standard Oils. maybe a little more expensive but worth it in the long run. check out thier site below

Honda GN-4, 10w40, or 20w50 in extreme heat. A few extra bucks isn't going to kill you!
