Rincon vs. Polaris 700 prarie
Guys don't get me wrong; I'm a Red Rider. I come from a long line of Honda loyalists. However, even I know that while the Rincon may seem fast to Honda-only riders, it's honestly probably the slowest of the big bores besides a Bombardier Quest 650 and MAYBE an Arctic Cat 650 (with their own engine in it, not the Kawi V-Twin). The Kawasaki Prairie 700/Suzuki Twinpeaks 700 will absolutely spank a Rincon and Polaris Sportsman 700. Us Honda enthusiasts have to face facts. In my opinion, the Rincon is just not a competitor in today's big-bore segment when compared to the Kawasaki Prairie and Brute Force, Suzuki Twinpeaks and KingQuad, Yamaha Grizzly and even though I'd rather have the Rincon, the Polaris Sportsman EFI.

It's too bad Honda did not equip that thing with a low range and better engine braking.I was seriously considering one because I wanted an IRS and it appeared Honda got it right in the suspension dept at least. They make those improvements and it could move up the list. You are right about the 700 EFI even.We have one in the group that just got one and he was dying to take the 650 on....not even close...especially out of the hole and mine is stock.
Seems like Honda just makes some things and figures people will buy them .......well ,,,,because they are a Honda IMO
