Get two or three ATV's. Even if they are old beaters. Then you can keep the operating ones in rotation. Just remember to keep at least one running so you don't get caught on a weekend or evening by your friends who want to go for a quick ride!

My brother in law had a old yamaha dirtbike. We went for a fairly long trail ride. His throttle cable broke, nobody had any tools, not even a knife. He unscrewed the cap, and attached a piece of boot lace (that we severed by rubbing on the sharp edge of the exhaust pipe opening) to the carb slide. He made it home by tugging on the string to operate the throttle. Of course watching him cross the railroad tracks was.... interesting...

you can't post anything on here without getting flamed.

I take good care of my stuff, change oil, run the best oils i can find. This has nothing to do with my CDI, Coil, Reverse box burning up.

I should just get myself another polaris, my trailblazer always ran good, left me stranded once because of a broke chain.

I'm just tired of working on it. I don't have a lot of money to spend on parts, or on ATVs, I'll be honest there!

i can agree with quadmaniac half the fun is fixing them at least when its not somethin really complicated. but its no fun when you only have one ride and it dies on you, i dont think this would be the case since 94dgblaster has a 300ex and his name says 94dgblaster so im assuming he has that too. if i was in that position id always have one runnin

No i sold it after it blew up 2 times!

First time, oil injector.

Second time, i let my dad rebuild it because he had a day off. Ran great, but he didn't tighten the head bolts down to spec. Came Loose, sucked air..Locked up!

And pineway, learn to spell, and you can kiss my ***!
