will 28" Gators fit stock 05 Foreman 500?
i have a set of 26" mud lites on my honda and it fits with no problem.
i also had a cat with 28" gators on it.
also my buddy has 27" mud lites on his rubicon.
and me and him both have lift kits on ours.
anyways my point is.
his 27s barly fit with the lift kit .
now we mesured the tire size with a mesuring tape and his 27" mud lites are the same hight as the 28" gators.
so if you put the 1 1/2" perfex lift kit on it, it should fit.
the lift kit cost me $80CDN so that would be around $50 US dollers.
and the lift kit makes it steer better also.
plus you get about 3" extra ground clearence with that combo.
and its still just a sure footed as it was befor i put in the lift kit.
if anything i think it made it a better quad.
but i do think you will need the lift kit.
my dealer did not recamend anything bigger then 1 1/2" because it would be to hard on the drive train.
hope this helps.
P.S. i think youll love the gators.
thats what im going back to when i get another set of tires.
but i think i'm going to stick with the 26" tires that way you wont loose to much power.
and you and your dad will see a fare differance in power loss with the gators.
i weighed my gators and the rear were just over 40lbs and the fronts were around 37 lbs
and thats alot of extra weight over the stockers witch weigh less then 20 lbs each.
P.SS. i have a few pics on my page of my old cat with the gatorsand i think theres a pick of my buddys rubicon with his 27s on it there also.
his is the red honda.

thanks for the help. the UPS man happened to show up 2 days early so we threw them on his Honda and they actually fit with no rubbing at all. They are HUGE though!! My 26" Gators should be here tomorrow for my Grizz , that will be plenty big enough for me. ill post pics when i get a chance.
