Please tell me some supplies and steps to take in snorkling my Recon!!Thanks!!

 

hey pyro, you might remember me as TexasWarrior. I'm trying to do the same to my Rancher. I can tell you what I do know. You have to of course take the air intake(stock snorkel) off and find some plastic pipe that is similar in size to the end of the stock part where it goes into the airbox. I'm told that you then have to somehow step that pipe up to a larger pipe. At that point using various angels of pvc joints, route that pipe out to the side of the gas tank towards the front rack where you can secure it with zip ties. Using a 90degree joint evenutally to get it to point straight up. A guy I know uses a threaded joint for that last piece. That gives the ability to lay the snorkle down on the rack when not in use. I do know theres a guy here sonewhere that has snorkeld his. I think I still have a pic of it. I'll look later and send it to you.
