What's wrong with Procycle in Springfield or Columbia? www.procycleusa.com

thegoat,
with 4 posts so far, I'd guess you work for ProCycle. It doesn't matter though....just a guess. I will give ProCycle in Columbia a shot but I don't want to waste 4 hrs of my time (2hrs each way) not including time at the dealership. I have heard that they have great prices (and seen them on their website) but that when you get there it is like pulling teeth for those prices to hold true.
I guess we will see what others say as well about them. I know that when I call them that I will make darn sure they understand that before I turn the key to my truck and start heading there that we have a FIRM otd price. It is not to sound like a hardas$ at all but I think these forums gives US, the consumer, a huge advantage of spreading the word. I am all for dealerships making their money....I'm just not for dishonesty and driving 4 hours for NO reason. Like I said I will call them too......and I am anxious to hear from more people that bought there and had somewhat of a drive getting there.

Hah! No, I don't work for procycle. I had seen their website and just thought I'd try to help. They have the printable ad on the site. I'd think they would honor that.

Just a little un-related info...
There is NO assembly. the TRX450R comes ready to ride outta the crate from Honda. Just add gas and go. I bought a crated 05 TRX450R. I had all the fluids ready for assembly. After I uncrated my bike , I found out that all I had to do was wash it off and add gas.
So that $3-$350 they all charge is BS.

I bought my Foreman this summer at Abernathy's. I drove down there from central Indiana. Was there when the store opened and on the road again with in an 1 1/2 hours with my quad. The price on the internet was what I paid. they collect no out of state sales tax on CASH transaction, if its financed they will collect your state sales tax. (this was what I was told).
I was only asked once about the extended warrinty, I refused it and all the salemans said was I would recieve a request in the mail from Honda to extend the warrinity. Its my understanding that Indiana will require any qaud bought Jan. 1 06 now must be titiled so I guess at that time Indiana will collect the tax due.
If and when I have to pay the state tax I still got a great price and it was well worth the drive for me me to save over $1000. The local dealers here thought knocking off $200 was giving this quad away, but that why these dealers like Abernathy's sell over a 100 units every weekendand my dealer sells maybe 1.

Stocks, I bought my 660 from Pro Cycle and it was a little like pulling teeth.......lol.
They will TRY to hit you up for fees ($500 all together) but I got away with less than half that. I went on a Saturday and was there for like 6 hrs..................
...but even then, their prices are so low its still worth the drive compared to around here.
I got my 700 from Holzhauer over in Nashville Illinois (don't know their website) and they will match Abernathy's price and its a lot closer. Roger Graham is a salesman there and he wants your business. (618) 327-4005..........I think you should check them out.....

Ozark34,
I have heard pretty good things about Holzhauer, I know two people that bought there and they didn't have anything bad to say. I will give them a call but are they really going to match Abernathy's or SouthernHonda's price? (I'd love to save the 10 hour drive, but $1,000 is a nice chunk of change)

They make you pay the Mo sales tax only when it is financed through Honda.
Ask "TheBOMjr" about Pro Cycle. . . at least if you want to hear how they took a long drive to the Springfield store and came back empty handed.
