I knew i bought the S model for a reason

I tried starting with the recoil without luck, how did they do it.

A question for those who have had this type of shifting problem do you power shift on a regular basis???

Madmax,

Thats a good question about power shifting. I never power shift. I wonder if power shifting damages the ES tranny?

For only $200 more I could have bought the ES Rancher, but choose not to because in the long run, I'm talking years down the line. I think the ES would give me problems. But I really did want the cooling fan that comes with the ES model. I will try to get one of these fans later. Very happy with my S model Rancher, only 4 weeks old.

Honda finally give in and said they would fix the shift problem at their own expense, when it was took to the shop they had another one in for the same repair.

I think that a lot of my problem is a powershifting son-in-law, but Honda did say they are replacing the bent shift arms witn a heavier one so it looks like in time there could be alot of bent shift arms powershifting or not.
