hey cw4usa im new to the forum as well.Not really sure if anyone was going to read my post or not but figured i would give it a try.Im not to familiar with these machines but could your float in your carb be stuck?
I know mine has a drain line and i believe its to manually drain the the carb for long term storage.Do you have a service manual?

 

I don't believe that the float is stuck. This line has a device in it that is supposed to be a one way valve of some sort. I just can't figure out what it really is supposed to do and NO, I do not have a service manual.

I had a problem similar to this and it turned out to be a wee beast in the fuel well on the carb. Every time I gave the bike throttle the tic shot up the jet and starved the bike!

Did you ever get the bike going?

 

anyone out here still have a 91 Honda trx 350D,,running or for parts???

 

Lots of 350Ds still going, we are breaking one, (no we don't ship to Canada). By the way starting a new thread would be better than jumping into a long dead one about carbs.

 

my 87 won't take any gas when put in gear is it a carb issue
