I have a 1981 three wheeler that need a new recoil starter. Honda won't sell me parts for a three wheeler. They say it is outlawed. Do they make a 185 cycle? How do I get a new starter for this? Thanks for the help.

 

You might find one on ebay, but check out feedback on seller i bought bought some brake backing plate assemblies for my 86' honda 350 foreman. One set were used and the second set where new O.E.M. honda factory, The used set were in worse shape than the one's on my quad ; the new assemblies were as described !! Hope this is helpful.. Oh i just thought of something else if you can't find one on ebay, you might get one for a 185 or 200 atv four wheeler that would be the same as your atc; ask the dealer for a small 4 wheeler ! If they won't do it try a suzuki,yamaha dealer just take your old one with you i bought all my honda part's from my Arctic Cat dealer, they ordered part's for my honda and suzuki for less $$$ than honda or suzuki cost . The arctic cat dealer was so good helping me on honda and suzuki part's that i bought a new 2006 AC 400 auto fis 4x4 feb. 7th 2006 ! The main thing is to find a good dealer, good dealer's will do more for you, in hope of repeat customer's ! .................williebee
