The biggest drawback on the 300ex stock exhaust is the small diameter headpipe. I would think that your Supertrapp pipe would be ok, might not gain as much as TC's but what are we talking here? maybe 1 hp difference. I always get leary when an engine builder/performance shop says "what you have is a peice of sh**! You need to buy all of my stuff". The drawback to having a 330 kit that has a tapered bore, at the bottom of the sleeve(so that you don't have to bore the cases), is that you run a higher risk of the very bottom of the sleeve cracking. This is very rare though, but is something to consider.

yea there is very little difference in my pipe and the pipe he sells...maybe 1hp if that... trick250rx has a bad azz 330rx and he uses the supertrapp race pipe (same head pipe and megaphone as the ids2) just different ends... and lemme tell ya... his quad is VERY fast.... I don't beleive any of that... he just wants to sell an overpriced pipe...

The TC Racing pipe is a SuperTrapp "shorty". Basicly Tom takes a regular SuperTrapp pipe, cuts it down, changes some of the internal baffles, removes all of the silencer packing and changes the end-cap. Then sells it for $350 dollars. The pipe does make "more" HP than a regular SuperTrapp, how much ????, I don't know. The 2 main draw-backs of the TC pipe are the loud exhaust tone(no silencer packing at all), and no spark arrestor(bad for trail riding).
It's up too you too decide what works the best for you. In my case, I use WhiteBrother's E-series with 12 discs. Good power, acceptable sound, and ok looks. I have too have a pipe with a spark arrestor because I trail ride with my "race machine" sometimes too test out new components and practice for CC races. Plus it's nice too have a pipe that doesn't blow all of the leaves off the trees when I pass by.
Tom is not a salesman. In fact, it almost seems like you have too twist his arm to place an order. That's why I trust his word.

Which 330 kit offers the most power for the least amount of money? I need power everywhere on the power band. So i want it to pull hard from the bottom to the very top, and out run a 400ex everywhere on the track and in the woods and on straight aways. Which one would be the best?
