I was thinking something more along the lines of a full featured 450 King or Griz aimed toward the trail rider rather than the work/utility rider like all the 420 versions. I could see Honda dropping the 400AT and making it the 450 full featured sport utility I am talking about. This would sell but could not be as light as some hope for.
The problem with this day dream is in the tranny. Honda seems to be committed to hydro-mechanical versions when a simple Rancher 5 speed would be better in many ways. I would even like to see a manual clutch 5 speed on this day dream but there would not be much market.

 

Sounds more like the new BRP Renegade,just this side of $9K though I believe.To rich for me!!
