I have an 05 rancher and it just started doing this. When I start it and the motor is still not warmed up all the way, it will not rev up much higher than idle, even with the choke on. I realize that most motors will hesitate and not rev that good when cold, but this one will not rev hardly at all, even if i pull the choke on and feather the throttle. Ant ideas would be apreciated.

 

Does it run normally once it warms up?

 

Yes it does but its not like it slowly gets better when it warms up. it wont rev up at all for a couple minutes, then all of a sudden it runs fine. Also it doesn't do this all the time. It has only done it to me twice. It seems to me like a sensor or an electrical problem of some kind.

 

It has been running fine lately, we'll just wait and see what happens
