I just bought an 05 650 rincon- I noticed a faint rattle / clicking sound that appears to be on the top end throttle side that is present when slow trail riding. But everything runs great, shifts great and is otherwise perfect running. So I just ignore it and ride- As a prior sportsman & outlander owner, I'm very used to arbitrary clutch & drive train chatter / noise. You haven't heard noise until you've snorkeled an outty 800- you'd swear there was a jet following you on the trail, and some old geezer whistling at you when idling! ![Big Grin](https://atvconnection.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Hey Guys, After a ton of searching, we found the where the noise was coming from on my new Rincon. It was the heat shield on the exhaust! To verify if that is what is causing the noise on your Rincon, do the following:
With the machine cold and turned off, tap the exhaust with the palm of your hand where the exhaust comes out of the head of the engine. If you hear ANY vibration or rattling, that's the problem. If your machine is in warranty, the problem is covered by Honda. If your machine is not in warranty, take the exhaust apart yourself and find and tighten all the loose parts.
