Did you pull the spark plug and try to crank it?

yes and now i changed the plugs, it runs good, but should i still be cautious, check dif front and rear oil?

Absolutely check the front and rear dif oil (I'd probably change it), and change the oil and filter again.

thanks for the help JeffinTD, the quad is now working fine, just wondering what kinda oil you guys run yours on, we got ours on 5W - 30, anything better?

The manuals for both of my machines suggest 10W40, that meets API SG or higher and JASO standard MA. I run Honda's HP4 in 10w40, but the new Rancher might have a different specification (or you might be operating in a cold climate).
