Default Honda Rancher battery charge problem

I have two 2004 350 4x4 honda ranchers that will not hold a charge nor charge the battery. I have replaced both batteries. I can externally charge a battery and place it back in and by the next morning I have dead batteries. I saw another post that is similiar. Is this an ongoing problem with these. I thought it was strange that both ATV's started having the same problem within a month of each other. ime.

I'm not aware of it being a common problem... On these forums a person has to keep in mind that scores of people own hondas, but usually only post here when a problem crops up.

I guess you saw the other thread, and I guess if your quad was mine I'd run the same checks I suggested.

Welcome to the forum, and post back if you come up with any other questions.

Most likely if it is not charging, a stator or a voltage regulator is bad.
Normally if you need diagnostic help on the charging system, Hondamechanic can shoot you the Honda procedure in an email or post it here
