Well, I bought a 250x. The rear carrier and bearings are definitely FUBAR, the whole thing rocks around like crazy. I haven't gotten it apart yet, but there's no doubt the carrier is shot, there's like 1/2" of play. Already ordered the carrier and bearings, thinking about replacing the swing arm too.. found a used one for only $30.

Engine runs really strong with no smoke at all, trans shifts nice and easy too. It needs front brake work too. The bolt that holds the hose into the front master cylinder is missing.

All in all it's a bit rough, and needs some TLC, but everything is there. It's also got upgraded shocks and springs which look to be in good shape.

Anyone have a good source for repair manuals (aside from eBay?). I'm assuming the Honda manual is much better than the Clymer?
