I do already have some vent tubes going up with my snorkle. But if that tube was vented up that way also, wouldn't it have trouble pushing the gas out?

If there's a low spot where liquid can collect, yes that can interfere with it venting properly.

If you aren't planning on submerging the machine, I'd just run the check valve and run the hose to the bottom of the ATV.

Yes, I plan on getting a little bit wet...hahah But isn't that the point of the check valve? To not let water go back in? What pod were you referring to in that other post?

I just ordered a new one from Honda.

Yeah, the check valve should, I would think, do OK at keeping water out. Some folks have run vent lines into the instrument pod atop the handlebar, since that usually stays out of the water, but if you've already got a snorkle...

I think I'd just run the vent line there.
