removing axle on recon 250
#1
when removing the axle on 04 recon 250 es will the main gear in the rear end stay lined up in order to push the new axle in?....also when removing old axle will the bearings be pulled out?

Yes. Just make sure you drive the axle out from the left side as sitting on the atv.
When installing the axle, you tap it in from the right until it seats. You have to install a new o-ring on the axle, coat it with grease and add molybdenum disulfied grease on the center splines.
Then just install the brake and hubs etc.....all this info is from a 2005-2009 factory service manual. I can't imagine there is any difference in the 04-05 rear axle.
Hope this helps.
