sick 04 rincon
#1
when starting my bike for the first time this year, it ran poorly when reving it up. decided to clean the carb. it was pretty clean but still cleaned it. reinstalled and low and behold same problem. tinkered with it and noticed that when i reach in from the back of the carb and touch the needle while at running it gets better. actually it sounds great, but when putting it into gear and taking off it goes sour again. do i need to replace the needle, the piston vacuum, or what. i am at a complete lost at this point. Please help

I also suspect you have something still in the carb. Use a good spray solvent and hit under all the jets and passages inside the bore.
Also make sure the piston's bore is clean, the diaphragm is in good condition (no holes or deteriorating spots) and the piston slides freely in the bore.
Anyway, welcome to the forum.
