420 Rancher

With the 420 vs the 350 you get more power and top end,I rode with a 350 Rancher once down a long gravel road and I do not think it could hit 50 mph while the 420 sure can. Plus you get EFI and liquid cooling.
There is a newer 420 Rancher with IRS but most are straight axles.
The Rancher is a mid size frame/ chassis unlike the full size Foreman even though they have almost the same power and motor displacement. The guy on the Rancher seems to twist though the trails quicker and have more fun.

Am I going in the right direction with the 420 rancher? Or should I look at a rubicon or rincon?
I am not to worried about new bikes with es. But with my budget I will be getting a used older bike.
I remember reading about the angle sensior. Was their ever a fix to the problem they had at the time? Like a better angle sensior or has the design been changed?
I would rather shift with my foot but the es looks cool. not really into the auto mode.
anyway thanks for all your help. If the weather hold I think we are going to take the old fourtrax 300 out today.

Your going to get a better condition 420 Ranch vs a Rubicon or Rincon in the same price range since the Rubicon and Rincon are a more exspensive model to begin with.
The Rubicon would be the work house of the group because its the only one with a low range and is a full size frame. The Rincon is only a 3 speed without low range while the Rancher is a 5 speed and has a low 1st gear.
Here is a good write up on the Rancher models.http://www.atvriders.com/atvreviews/...de-review.html
