Question Trx300

I have just overhauled my 1996 Honda Fourtrax 300, Clutch, with NEW DISC.,Clutch Plates and springs When I started it up and put it in gear the Engine Stalls I read a Post about where you can Pull the shift lever UP and hold it there and it would make the Clutch DISC. UN-stick, Well I did that and when you let go of the shift lever the Engine Stalls? right now I'm Lost for any ideas that would shovel this Problem I did check the Centrifugal Clutch Lining and springs, everything check out!!!! All I got to say is "HELP"

Did you soak the plates in oil for a day before you installed them? Try putting it in gear without the engine running. Pull the clutch lever in and rock the bike forward and backward until it rolls freely. Sometimes this will unstick the plates.

I did soak the clutch plates in Honda engine oil for 24 hrs, "YES" I tryed putting it in gear with the Engine off, and pulling up and holding it there, and the ATV rolls, just like it does with the engine running and the shift lever held in the up position.

Does it stall as if it's an electrical problem? Maybe you forgot to reattach the reverse wire or something?
