finally got my 500 quad running great. had to cean all my conecctors to my cdi and also clean my fuel tank got a bunch of crap out of it.my dash stopde blinking and so did my 4x4 signal ligth..now just got to replce front bearing.then ill start on my older 500.i am going to rreplace rings and some oher parts ill see if can put some pics. cool

 

Sounds a good job on reconditioning her. Which trail you will hitting?

 

You have the right approach by having fun doing maintenance.
They take a beating and half the fun is taking care of them. Dont forget to look online on reconditioning faded plastic w a heat gun and the other option; thinner and boiled linseed oik.
