85-87 Honda trx250 motor on Go-Cart, No Spark
#21
Okay, I will do that tomorrow, my co worker is going to help me, I’m bringing it to where I work, mainly because it’s nearly impossible to work on it outside right now. Usually being about 20-30 degrees. We are going to dissect the wiring harness and look for a broken wire, and also check to make sure the pulse coil is not grounding. Please msg me for anything else we can do or check. While I have help and a warm building

Okay so I brought the go cart to where I work, and my co worker was able to help me do some testing, we weren’t getting anything from the pulse generator, so I took the left motor cover back off and found that the new pulse gen. That I installed was not the right one, because you could tell that the fly wheel spun around and broke it. I ordered the right one from partzilla, genuine Honda part, should be right this time when it comes in, I’ll let u know what happens when I install that and test it.

It Lives!!!!
Hey guys, the new Honda pulse generator is just what the doctor ordered! It fixed the no spark issue! Thank you guys so much for your help! Actually, thank you Merryman!
The go cart was ridden a couple times then the drive shaft I extended broke, my brother in law works in a machine shop, so he is fixing that part now. Everyone that has driven it loved it! Now I see why people that drive side by sides have so much fun!
