Been away for a while, now that the trails are back open I'm in the market for a new quad, but holy smokes, What Happened to the TRX450 & TRX700? Was expecting to pick up a new EFI 450 baised on the CRF bike, but nadda! Not available anywhere??!! Even the trusty TRX400X is gone!

 

I don't see anything bigger than the 250 listed on their website.

 

Its possible all the 2018 models aren't listed yet. Sport atvs just don't sell anymore, everyone is buying utility atvs or side by sides. There are tons of used ones out there. As fast as they depreciate, I couldn't imagine buying a new sport atv anyway. That TRX 700 engine is what they should have used for the utility atvs, makes way more power than the engine currently used in the Rincon and Pioneer 700.

 

The Rincon is sold as a "leisure Quad" that three speed auto box makes it totally useless as a utility machine.

 

Its in desperate need of a refresh. Its supposed to be the flagship model but doesn't offer either power steering(I've heard it really needs it) or diff-lock. The Rubicon has much better features except for that it still only has the 28 hp, 475cc engine. I'd scrap the Rincon altogether and just make a more powerful Rubicon.
