White Bros. New R4
#1
A few questions:
1) How new is this R4 exhaust system from White Bros.? I was looking through my new Dennis Kirk and came across this R4 that is for a four-stroke. I like the way it looks compared to the e-series. Does anyone know anything about these?
2) What is the difference between the "s-bend" and "pro-meg" style silencers from WB? Is it the style of the end of the silencer?
3) What gives a larger power increase, WB, FMF, or IDS2?
I am going to go with the WB, but would like to know if anyone in here could tell a difference in the power increase among WB, FMF, or IDS2.
Thanks guys.

WB is by far the best exhaust out there. They are awesome everywhere in the powerband. The pro-meg is the higher priced and gives more power. Im not exactly sure how they differ. The WB will give much more power than either one of those pipes. They arent all that new, maybe a year old or so. They sound great, and give a good power increase. They are pretty loud though. Noticably louder than the Eseries. Are you racing closed course or trail riding?? If you are not racing closed course, and sound is a concern get the eseries.

I will be mainly be riding closed courses. Some trail, but mainly closed course. Did you mean that the R4 is louder and that the R4 is only about a year old?
Also, do you have any pics of that 300 for sale? I have a 2001 and am very happy with it. I am in the process of setting up completely for mx. I have the suspension left. I don't know if i am going to bore it out or not, but nonetheless, it shoudl be ready in a year or so. Being in college creates a money bind. My father and girlfriend are looking for a 300EX. What are the specs on that 300.

Have you had any experience with the e-series? What do you prefer, R4 or E-series? I need the most power increase without boring. I maily run on an mx track. It was originally designed for bikes, but recently widened enough for about three quads. There are some huge jumps and I need just a bit more power.
Thanks,
NT
