Hello Experts,
I'm looking for a 4x4 ATV. I figure a Honda can take a beating and keep on ticking, but I'm open to suggestions for an easy-to-shift (or Auto) ATV with lots of go-go-go (400 - 600). Where are the best places to look on the net, or in print, or in WA or BC (in person) for a good selection? I'm not in a rush, but I'd like to get a feel for the market and I'd like to know which ATVs you figure would be my best bet for a farm machine that would keep up with my buddies on the odd weekend away. Thanks, Joe

i agree...pick up a cycle trader at a gas station or check out their online site. most of the quads you'll find will be sport models but there are still plenty of utes. also check out www.atv-trader.com or else www.atvtrader.com yes those are 2 different sites.

THANK YOU! I appreciate you guys taking the time to talk to a Canadian newbie. I'll scope out the sites you suggested, and I'll pickup a cycletrader mag as soon as I can find one up here. I'll bee buzzing down to Arlington next weekend, and pick up one at a gas station. Also, I checked out your pics - even though I enlarged the photos, I couldn't see where you attached the wings on the flying ones! I'll check back in a week or so to see if anyone else has any suggestions. Oh, I also put a WANTED ad in the atvconnections clasifieds. Thanks again, Joe.

I'm with you dude! I've seen good and bad performances from all the differant brands. I still believe if you take reasonbly good care of your bike it should last and perform for years no matter the nameplate. I have a 95 Polaris 425 Mag 4x4 and its been a great machine, never have had to walk home. 1600 miles of mountain trails and never any trouble. My complaint is the dealer! He don't even stock spark plugs or oil filters so I went across the street and bought 2 Hondas. Both are great machines but they have a tough act to follow. My advice to all is have a good time riding and don't try and one up everybody. Take care of your machine and if your happy with it, screw anyone who has a problem.
