Does anyone have any more info on the recall?
I have money down and have not been able to get any info from my dealer. Can anyone tell me the price they paid? Was there shipping on top of the list price?

My new Rancher passed the inspection. They said that the robots that weld on the frame had missed a weld on some of the Ranchers. It was only about a 200 range of serial numbers of Rangers off the assembly line and mine was one of them. Glad mine was good. Hope this info helps. By the way this is some machine, and I like the way it handles.

JackJ, tell me more about your machine. How does that new AP front differential work? Does it spin both front tires? Which tire gets the torque when one of the front wheels is off the ground? How is the power of the 350? What does it compare to? Suspension? Thanks for the info.

i also was able to confirm a a couple of dealers that the recall was on a very limited number of ranchers. they said it was a weld on the front a-arm that was missing and it was doubtful if it would ever caused a problem anyway. i'm glad it was not a major componet like motor or transmission.

Rooster,I will get back with you on the Rancher after my weekend ride. One of the guys has a 300 fourtrax and will be riding with me. I have the 4x4 ES. This weekend will be my first big test ride on the Rancher. I know we will see if this Rancher is going to be better than the old 300 fourtrax 4x4.
