I'm almost 25, act 12, started out on a Polaris Trailboss 250 when I was around 7 or so, could barely reach the floorboards, beat the hell out of it, my uncle took it back, my dad bought me a Moto-4 200, beat on that for awhile, police kept following me home for some illegal form of riding or another, went quadless for awhile (but rode my friends alot) Bought myself a 01 TBlazer, sold it after a few months, now own a restored (by me) rocket. If there's someone who's willing to talk about quads, I'll find them at a Wal-Mart or where ever and talk for a good hour or so, just long enough to make the old lady mad................Yup, I sure do love quads.........Latah

I'm 43. I have ridden 4 wheelers since they came out in the 80's but rode dirt bikes before that.

The 250EX is a good machine. At your size you may want to do what I did and bring the handlebars up and back (or get a different pair to do the same thing). I also put on softer springs to help the ride. The EX is nice 'cause you can putt around with the young ones all day but still tear around when you are by yourself. As far as the kid machine, I would be tempted to try the Yukon 150 or the new Bombardier 200 Rally. Easy to operate but a little more machine that won't be so easily outgrown for about the same $.

I'll be 40 this summer. I started out on a honda SL 70. I have owned 3 road bikes,a 350x that I miss dearly and a 400 ex. Currently I have a Mini trail 50,atc 70,atc 200s,xr 250 and a very old Suzuki 250. I started riding when I was 14 yrs old. I'm waiting for honda to come out with a bigger quad.I enjoy riding the silver lake sand dunes here in Michigan.
