ATV shoot-out
#1
I'm thinking on getting a Used fourwheeler and I was looking into either the Honda Rancher 2x4, Kawasaki Bayou 300 2x4 or the Yamaha Bear Tracker. Because I want a good Utility (with a little sport type in it) ATV. But not too costley (under 2500), Or too big. And i'm wondering which ATV would best sute my needs. I would mostly be using it for Climbing hills, going in mud and water 1-2 1/2 feet deep,Trails, rocks, shalow mud holes,Creeks, Hunting (hauling deer out of the woods), And a small ATV track. So if there was a shoot-out which one of the 3 ATVs would win? Thanx
So basicaly which of the 3 ATV's would be most reliable, Most powerfull, most top speed and best handling. Thatx again!
P.S. Do anny of you guys now the HP rating and top speed of these quads?
Mike

well with some sport in it to mm? here's my 1 and a half cents how's about the trx300 4wd it's the most dependable atv in history, and not just me saying that ask anyone thats really done there homework, as well as most test's of this quad will tell you that too. and since they were made from 88 till 98 "might be wrong on that last year but im sure thats it" you'll be able to find one in any price range. yet there is 2 draw back's the shocks are pretty limted and it handles just a wee stiff i hope this help's

you also said YamahaRyder350 that it would have to be under 2500 buck's. your not getting a 02 anything for that not in the adult class anyways' ill 2th wolverine, that would be a nice quad and there are many goodie's made for it. so when you get use to it and it feels slow you can pick up the phone and start ordering,

Our Ranchers have been great. The handling (especially of the 2X4) is more sport than utility. I can even bust out some pretty good air on this machine! The 2X4 will go almost anywhere the 4X4 will. We don't get much mud and snow out here in the desert though. Sorry, I can't comment on the other two bikes.
