I subscribe to almost all ATV magazines and untill the 400EX came the 300EX ruled the roost. After all it did and still does win most of the shootouts between the mojave, warrior, and blaster.
Please give your insight on how you feel about the 300EX.

There are faster machines and more powerful machines, but the 300EX is a great machine, not the best, but one of the best. I have a '99 model and luv it. With a few mods it's a super bike. It is definitely not for bigger people. It's better suited for smaller individuals. In my opinion it's one of the best quads on the market today.

The 300EX is a great choice for many people from intermediate to expert.

Not what was meant by "not for larger people", I've seen and redin with folks that are pretty good sized and they sure seem very comfortable on it. Folks that are over 6' and 250 lbs#'s.

A direct answer to your question would of course be YES!

They are a very versatile machine that server as one of the best examples of an all around quad.

the weight limit on a 300ex is 270lbs I think. the guy I bought my 97 300 ex from weighed close to that or maybe a little more and was close to 6 feet tall.so I think bigger guys can ride them pretty well. even after that guy rode it a few years the shocks are still in good shape. later

Fellows, I'm not trying to start an arguement over my opinion of a 300EX, I own one and luv it. The 300 is a small framed quad. I ride mine very aggressively and personnally can't picture a bigger person being comfortable riding aggressively. For trail riding it probably wouldn't matter. Like I said the 300EX is a great machine, I don't want to open a can of worms over this post, it's only my opinion, sorry if i've offended anyone.

Im not thrashing anyone, IT'S MY OPINION, AND MINE ONLY. The man asked for insight and I gave him mine. Let him decide what to do with it. Did I say a big person can't ride aggressivly, I don't think so. Read my post again and think before you pound the key board.

RangerSX, in my opinion your post serves a useful purpose: A BAD EXAMPLE.

The man was asked HIS opinion, he gave it; labeling it appropriately and declaring he intended no offense.

Your calling his opinion "stupid" was uncalled for and way out of line.

You owe Mike300EX-99 an apology, if you're a person of honor and decency.

Just your typical juvenile response from RangerSX. Forgive him, for he knows no better.
