I have ridden the Rancher 2x4 and yes it does wheelie like the Recon but it does not turn quite as sharp due to it's longer wheelbase. It also does great spin outs in dirt and pulls much harder than our Recon,I ended up with the Rancher 4x4 and it will pull the front end up when shifting but not like the 2x4.

I have a Rancher 2x4 and I love it ...It has no problem getting the front wheels off the ground if you want them to. I think for a bigger unit it corners really well. I think Honda did an great job on this quad.

I am going to get rid of the Recon and buy a Rancher 2x4 so my wife can keep up with me on trails.
