went out riding the belt light was flashing lost 4wheel drive and can not go over 8miles and hour
any idears

 

Pully's stuck open? Belt separation? Sensor failure? Can't wait to hear what it is!

Your "Drive belt failure detection switch" may be tripped. For a quick check I would suggest removing the cover and checking the switch. Nothing is going to jump out when you remove the cover. Just remember dont turn the key on when its removed. You will see the switch at the top of the cover. The hand should be toward the ON position. If it is not then you need to put it there and adjust your belt or have your dealer do it for you.
