clutch ?? on P650
#1
I replaced my 650 belt with the P360 belt to get more top speed. When I took the clutch cover off I noticed alot of dust and mud in there.........apparently I had taken it a little to deep one time and didn't know it. I cleaned it all out and noticed a little bit of rust on the spring and little mechanism in the clutch cover (I forget what it is called in there).
But anyway, I decided the best way to keep rust from accumulating was to spray a little WD40 on it and just keep it clean. Did I make a mistake here or is WD40 ok in the clutch housing area? Are there better reccomendations? Also what is the best way to make the clutch area waterproof (for instance the seal around the cover)?
Thanks
