Try turning the screw out, I think this is all you need. The screw is on the bottom of the carb right in front of the fuel bowl, it is hard to see. The hour meter is part of the optional speedo.

SHould I try the air screw or the exhaust valves? I have heard both mentioned here.

Try the air screw first, It only takes a few seconds to do.

Is there a screw on the fuel bowl also. I unscrewed a screw that I thought was the air screw and gas ran out. Was that the wrong screw. Also, I checked my air filter and noticed oil in the case. What the hell is this?

Oil in the air box is not uncommon. It usually occurs on the P650 when too much motor oil was put in the engine. Appearantly, there is an overflow tube/breather tube that dumps excess motor oil into the air box. Its usually no big deal. Just clean out the air box and air filter and try not to over fill the motor with oil in the future.

Happy trails...

The screw you removed is just a drain. The air screw is just in front of the bowl. You can not see the head of the screw with out turning the carb sideways or with a small mirror. If you use a small screw driver you can feel the head of the screw. Good luck Tim

You unscrewed the wrong screw.. the air/fuel mixture is right in front of the fuel bowl, its a little hard to find & requires either a special tool or a real small short screwdriver (I use a small standard screwdriver bit) .. The exhaust valve needing adjustment is a VERY COMMON problem on the 360 & does cause the engine to die when the ATV comes to a stop. But richining the air/fuel might be a problem as well..
