Default new kfx400 new to riding .help.

i just bought a kfx 400 and just started to ride . for now on trails. i dont think i need more speed at the moment (soon thou) but i was wondering if its a good idea to do small upgrades like exhaust and air filters/intakes. maybe gears. for a beginner just wonder if yall had any good ideas.
thanks for any advice yall give.

Hey , congrats, I love my 03 KFX !!! pipe- jet-air filter adpt-uni filter.lid off. they love the dirt !! Good luck. Dont Litter. Have fun.

I like rocky mountain ATV and also magicracing.com has some good prices too. KFX/Z are awesome quads, have fun on it dude.

I have a few tips that will cost you a few bucks, and you will get a great increase in power with your machine. The only cost associated with this mod is your time. If you are interested email me @ bryantca@charter.net.

My KFX400 is bone stock as of the moment but my plans are to order the following to start with:

HMF full pipe install
ITP rims and paddel tires
175 main jet
run open air box with K&N filter
advanced digital ignition
Tag handel bars

I beleave this will give me a little more power...well not the bars [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

i would order from rockymountainatv.com or magicracing.com.i just ordered a white bros. full exhaust,handlebars,and shockwears for under $500($478 to be exact) from magicracing.com
