Thanks for the info on price on the shims.......30 degrees? Holy Cats you should be here in Indiana Pa where the temp is 10 right now.........but I keep it around 70 in the garage and the P650 just loves sitting in there.................Dave

answer: no. shims control belt tension. if the belt is not slipping or squawking on take-off, you can leave the shims alone. i have had the black spring on my p360 for a year now. it works great. it is similar to the effect of changing sprockets on dirt bikes for better gearing...if you have ever done that before.

Default Black Spring

Well I am happy to say that all went well with the install. No shimming required. I have now ordered a Dalton plain\white primary spring per my e-mail with KissofDeath and the DG Holeshot will be here this week per my conversation with them. Thank all who have done the research to give us the correct direction to go in with little thought. Thanks again.
