Default ATR's on P650??????

My issue has a Sidewinder sprockets full page add on page 115. So that explains that I guess that there are different adds maybe in some of subscription mags. I thought I saw an add in my friends copy he got in the mail that i couldn't find in the issue I bought of the rack. I thought maybe I was just crazy or getting old. Thanks for the info I sent ITP a E-Mail to try and find out more. I will post if they respond back to me.

My two cents. I wouldn't spend two cents on another set of ATRs. That's why I call them Holy Holeshots. My next set will be Bighorns. Two more cents C-series look really good BUT if your doing a wheelie and happen to come down on a big rock kiss your pretty rim goodbye and start walking. If it was a stock rim all you got to do is get the BFH out of your box and beat it back, good to go after u find some air.

Hey Kawtech
How much wider is your front track with those C-series wheels, they sure look good.

Thanks

first i have never had a problum with the side walls on my ATR"s.....i love the ride and thay retain all the power the 650 can dish out....with great traction.... and i have two sets on C ...wheels type 4.....as far as the new type 6 wheels go i beleve the front might have a 1 inch wider track per side then the stock wheels....the rear's are difrent, between the type 4 and the type 5&6......the type 5&6 have an extra 1 inch wider stance in the rear then even the type 4 wheels !!!!! i got that info right from ITP.......so that would put the rear track 2" wider than stock .......great wheels and the quality was first rate!!! the type 5 wheels have a machine finish and are clear coated ...also the rim edge is stronger.. thay call it there rock crusher rim... i might get a set of those with bighorns for the wife...and sell the 10"mudlights...i don't do much muden....

Dont waist your time... there nice in the snow for plowing but the side walls blow out way to easily... seeing ive gone through three tires.. Two which have tubes the other was loaded with holes all through the sidewall which i cant do anything with.. But they look nice on c-series rim..

ITP sent me a E-mail said they are coming out with 26s in about 30 days. They will be sized the same as a 26x8x12 front and 26x10x12 rear. I was hoping they would be wider. Del700 I am not crazy I looked at my buddies issue that he got in the mail it has the ad insert and said the same thing ITP told me. I guess they just didn't put that ad in the ones for the news stands.

DirtVH, looks like alot of riders had the same trouble, puncher of the side walls. You probably ride in the same type of terrain I do, mainly rocks and forest trails with lots of roots. I would get a puncher about every time I would go. I finally replaced them with 26" mudlites a world of difference in toughness but the mudlites don't ride or handle as good. I'm hoping the 26" ATR'S will have better sidewalls. I'm about ready to purchase a new set for my son's P650 maybe the bighorn radials would be better suited to our style of riding.

Del700 I think I am going to go with the All Tracs, I know they are 2 ply but from what I have heard they are tough. Still used by a lot of racers, if not them then the Big Horn Radials. I will be looking at them real hard in the next few weeks.
