Default Belt Deflection Switch Removal?

I really don't need that box on top of my cover so I would like to remove it and make a polished aluminum cover. The machine will not run onless the wires are connected though. I think the new CDI will cut that switch out anyway, if I remember correctly. Can I just pull the EBC fuse in the holder?

You can cut the two wires above the connection and solder them together. Everything will work fine then! I have a plastic welder and when I remover the switch I just took some black plastic and filled in the holes.

Yep... I removed mine ( as per PRAIRIEWRENCHE's suggestion ), but I don't have a plastic welder... I drilled out the poprivets that hold it, & riveted a thin piece of aluminum duct, on the inside, cut to fit the square, then used black silicone on the outside, to smooth over the top of the aluminum... you can't even tell it was ever there... at least when it's muddy anyways...LOL...

I'm thinking anout doing the same thing with the KBEC...

If you are removing both the belt switch and the brake, just buy a V Force cover and put it on there. I have one for mine,,, now if I just had my 4 wheeler! LOL!!! Oh well,, Mickey has it looking VERY GOOD!!!
