How did you get the money for your CDI?
well I am going to be able to order my CDI later this week which I am excited about. I had bought a new reciever and surrond sound the day before I got the email about the CDI being available so I couldn't justify spending more money that I didn't have, but today when my buddy sank his sled he needed someone to tie a rope to it and he offered me $100 to start. However I got him to $200 and a case of beer before I did it. It was about 7 feet down and I have never been so cold in my life I have been in the drink before but wow it was never quite like this, just intense pain and so unbelievably hard to breathe. well anyways just thought I would share my story on how I came up with the money for my CDI and wondered if anybody else went to great lengths to come up with the money for theirs now hopefully it was worth it.

Must have been not a good buddy if you charged him.
I sunk my snowmachine a few years back and two of my buddies helped me get it out free of charge and I have gone out of my way to help my friends and even guys I do not even know also for free. I can not make profit from somebodys misfortunes as the old saying goes" What comes around goes around". Hopefully your friend has short memory when you need help next time and he is the only one availble.
I know you say he offered but was that the best thing to do making him pay 200 plus a case? I can see the case of beer though as you could share it while sitting around afterwards. But, this is me and not you, so I think differently, enjoy your CDI. AlaskaBoy.
