Yes, I wish your uncle the best, & my condolences on your aunt... but the human body is capable of incredible healing at times... I had a bad MC accident last October... they said worst case, amputate my foot, best case skin grafts... by the grace of God, a well healing body, & an attentitive wife, I now have both feet, walk with no limp, didn't need skin grafts, & still plan on racing my ATV this summer... & I still get volenteered to help move all my buddys heavy items, when they move... I hope your uncle is as blessed as I was...Good luck...

Trailride,
Very sorry to hear about the terrible accident. When I was a young lad, my folks were adament about me NOT owning a street bike (altho they were more than happy to see me riding on my 3 wheeler). As a result of my upbringing, I have never owned a streetbike for the very reason that you described above...it seems that for whatever reason, other drivers never seem to see the MC until its too late. I hope your uncle recovers both emotionally and physically.

Very sorry to hear that. Time will heal but it won't be easy. Best wishes to you and your family.
I too gave up my passion for street bikes when my first child was born. It's really a shame that idiots in cars have no respect for people on bikes.

Sorry to hear about your loss trailride, and best wishes to your uncles recovery. I just went through a bad wreck my mom and grandparents were in back in January. My parents feel the same way about motorcycles as many do on here. Nobody looks out for them on the road.

Sorry about your Uncle and Aunt trailride. In my job as an EMS director I see this way to much. I can't remenber how many wrecks I' have been to that you can say if a person was paying attention to there driving this accident would not have happened. Best wishes to you and your uncle.
