Wind resistance! Aerodynamics play a big role above 60mph.

Bbertram, skat trax has a web sight that use to have pictures of there race quad with the chain drive, and that old saying theres no replacement for displacement holds true for the V, Mickey's big bore kit is worth every nickel, twice. There's nothing like pulling up to comp. hill at dumont riding what everybody out here calls the school bus with a bunch of people looking at you and thinking ya right, but when you smoke 80% of the four strokes out there, then those same people are standing around the bike wanting to know what the hec did you do to that thing. total amount in engine mods about 3500 dollars, seeing the look on everybodies face when 750 pounds of bike and rider beats em to the top, PRICLESS.Alltoys thanks for the help. Mickey d, pilot jets are drilled two sizes bigger than stock, Idle's good and still a little rich.

sincityduner,
That must be a blast to kick some butt with that V of yours! Lets see some pictures What kind of HP does that thing make with the Boonedockers?
When I go to the strip they can't believe a 4WD machine can be so quick! This year I should be even quicker.LOL Dido on the PRICELESS Alltoys!
I agree with you too about the big bore kit from Mickey it is well worth the money and time spent! I would like to get my machine on a dyno to see how much HP it adds over stock, but can't find one close by?
I see you drilled your pilots out, mine is lean also. The last time I talked with MD he said he couldn't get PW machine to idle with the drilled out pilots, to rich? We are about the same in elevation, so I haven't tried anything. I heard they were going to release new pilots this June or July? Did you drill them one size bigger first, and it wasn't enough? Maybe I should send my extra set to Mickey and get them drilled out, it is worth a try?
