my buddy just bought a p700 with 112 miles on it oil light is flashing but goes out after half throttle any body ever hear of any thing like that if so what was the cause going back to the dealer tomorrow [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

I've got around 120 miles on my p700,so far no lights flashing.I think there made to come on if the oil is low,sorry but that's about all I can think of.

 

sorry should have posted more info changed the oil used kaw oil&filter swithched sending unit with my 700 no differance

 

Read my manual and it read's like this:If the engine oil gets extremely low or if the oil pump does not function properly,or oil passages are clogged,or otherwise do no function properly,the oil pressure symbol will flash,then it goes on to say not to run it until the problem has been fixed.Hopfully it's nothing serious.Keep us up-dated when you find out what it is,case mine does it then I'll know what to look for.lmao

It's probably either the oil pump is going bad, plugged pickup screen, or the oil pressure relief valve is sticking. Take it to the dealer, ASAP.

had the same problem dealer said check relief valve sometimes they come loose, but mine the oil pump was in about 8 pieces good luck
